Ever since the latest Game of Thrones season ended there’s been a severe drop-off in my Sunday evening of dragons, murders, betrayals, snappy Tyrion comebacks, and Jorah Mormont friendzoning. Luckily, there are a couple of talented individuals out there who have put out some incredible GoT content to make the wait for next season a little more bearable. Both Steve Duzz and Mike Wrobel had the wild idea of taking cultural influences from the 80’s and 90’s and integrating them into their respective art forms. Steve Duzz used the 80’s synth pop sound we all know and love and remixed the GoT opening credits into a masterpiece that would have fit in perfectly next to the theme songs from Knight Rider and Miami Vice. Mike Wrobel has re-imagined some of GoT most prominent characters with iconic 80’s/90’s styles, making them look like they’ve stepped right off the set of a John Hughes film.
