Alive in the face of death is a photo collaboration between John Rankin and Andrew Gallimore that touches sensitive topics of terminal illness and morality. After Rankin struggled through his own events of of death in 2005 when his parents died, he was inspired by grief to celebrate life in this photo series. The collaboration documents individual and passionate tales of men and women who have also experienced the prospect of death , depicting each not as a victim but as an inspiration.
