“One Inch Punch” series by Mu Pan

Although a great number of depictions of mother nature comprise of blissful birds or lush scenery, Mu Pan’s new compilation of pictures are filled with war and rage . Pan will present these paintings for his solo show, “One Inch Punch ,” at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica from May 17th to June 7th. Pan’s artworks hold up a reflection to human civilizations asking us to contemplate the coldblooded legacy of colonialism and warfare that proceeds to form the globe.  I’m sure I will make plenty of excuses not to make the 1 hour drive to see Mu Pan’s solo show, but I do highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!  But if you aren’t feel free to browse his work below.
